Portable agent. Run and report without installing nothing on client

Hi!

I cannout understand why it seems on an older version of OCS Inventory NG this was possible and now it's not.

I only want to run a report on all of the computers of my network once in a month, and I don't want to install nothing on they. I don't know the reason of this problem, for sure there should be one, but I don't found nothing on the wiki.

I read something related to OCS Inventory it's perl made and for run the scripts obviously it needs a perl interpret. If this it's the problem I read Strawberry Perl has a portable interpret.

Can you explain how you have done in older version of OCS Inventory, running ocs without agent?
