Is there a way to force TAG prompting using Agent?

Hello everyone. Recently we updated our OCS Agent using GPO. I would like to know if there's a way to force the TAG prompt in stations that already have the agent installed, because a lot of our computer have the TAG empty or wrong, and its impratictal to manually adjust them directly in the server.

Hi,

You can set TAG from command line setup.

OCS-NG-Windows-Agent-Setup.exe /UPGRADE /S /TAG=MyTag

See "OCS Inventory NG Agent for Windows Setup command line options" documentation.

With the OCS server, you can easily set a TAG to a computers list.

  1. Search computers (menu Inventory, Search with various criteria)
  2. Select "Mass processing" button
  3. Set TAG for the selection
