Hi,

The password for mysql user defined in ocsinventory-server.conf is not correct. By default this is set to ocs. Change it and restart apache after modifications.

hello,

thank frank for taking his time to answer my question. i have been looking the file ocsinventory-server.conf for several days now. i can see that i have changed the line number 32 written PerlSetVar OCS_BD_PWD by another password. that means i am no more using the default password. meanwhile i still have the same error couldn't resolve host name.

please if someone else can propose something i will be thankfull
