J’ai déjà vu ce problème après une mise à jour GLPI. Vérifiez surtout les logs PHP/GLPI et videz le cache. La version 2.1.3 du plugin OCS Inventory NG semble encore avoir quelques soucis avec GLPI 11.0.1.

Indeed, OCS offers an effective solution comparable in this respect to comprehensive and expensive tools like SCCM or LANDesk, which require spending tens of thousands of euros each year, but OCS necessitate external expertise to fully exploit their capabilities.

Regarding my plugins (all perfectly functional and up-to-date), they represent 8 to 10 years of work as an expert, so I wish good luck to anyone who wants to do the same.

But you're right, providing the list of plugins to everyone without any initial collaboration generates ideas, but from the initial idea to the design and implementation, there's still a significant amount of research and study involved.

I still have the issue and I’m not able to find where it gets stuck.

In the ocsinventory.log, I can see the following:

EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Found executable plugin <winupdate.ps1>

EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Plugin <winupdate.ps1> executed successfully

During the agent synchronization, I notice a temporary XML file created with the Winupdate info, but it disappears after the sync process. This information doesn’t seem to be sent to the server...

Does anyone have any idea?

are you using official plugins or sefmade plugins?

the AI says you should use something like

in the xml file quote "Return an empty plugin structure when conditions are not met:"

This structure includes a <DELETE> tag with a value of 1, indicating that the existing data should be removed

In your plugin's Map.pm file, add logic to handle the deletion:

J'ai installé 2 plugin, un windows (winsecdetails) et un Linux (CrontabTasks). J'ai suivi la documentation officielle pour installer un plugin cependant lors de mon inventaire j'ai un tableau correspondant au plugin mais il est vide. J'ai donc essayé de lancer les scripts a la main (Crontab.pm et winsecdetails.ps1) j'ai des résultats. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi les résultats obtenus ne sont pas remontés lors de l'inventaire.

I have an OCS Inventory Server in a Ubuntu.

Ocs Inventory = Last
Ubuntu = Last

Im trying to compare 2 devices with the plugin "compare devices" but I cant install de plugin.When I trie to run "composer install" after moving the directory to /extensions, it says this:

Nous avons installés le plugin Vmware_Vcenter 2.1 avec OCS inventory v2.10 avec succès

cependant, nous n'arrivons pas à collecter les informations de notre vCenter, rien n'apparait sur le tableau de bord, pour information il s'agit de vCenter version 7

Est ce que quelqu'un d'autre l'a déjà testé avec vCenter et plus particulièrement avec la version 7 ?

Ma config de test :

- OCS Inventory 2.10 est installé avec un conteneur (Alma 8)
- OCS Agent 2.9.1 est installé sur un serveur distant Centos 7

Hi team, i have some plugins installed on Windows that are not working and retrieving information due to the error below:

I tried to install older versions of the plugins and agents and still not working.

GPResult --> Version 1

Winusers --> Version 4

If i run the powershell file it returns the info correctly it appears to be the XML conversion format

Checkfiles Plugin send not information

I have now installed the Checkfile plugin for the first time, on Github the error was the spelling.

I also installed it on a Linux agent and created a text.txt for a path, which I also entered in the Checkfile.pm for the agent.

In line 44 I have entered the following: # complete below variable w/ any file paths (multiple allowed) 44 my @paths = ('/etc/test/test.txt', '/path/to/test2.txt')

# set below variable to 1 for content retrieval or 0 for presence only

my $getContent = 0; or must the syntax be described differently in Debian/Ubuntu?

In the web application this only remains.

How do I know how many users have the same sw installed on their pc or laptop?

For example, user1097 has Kaspersky installed, and if I click on that SW installed, other users who also have that SW installed should appear, so as not to search for 1 by 1 and verify if it has it installed or not. Thanks a lot guys.

After installing the plugins in ocs-server and copying the plugins to the endpoints in the agent path. When I run an inventory collection through the agent, I can see the following in the OCSInventory.log of ProgramData.

AGENT => Inventory required

AGENT => Launching hardware and software checks

ERROR *** EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Executable plugin <C:\Program Files\OCS Inventory Agent\plugins\winusers.ps1> output is not a valid XML document

AGENT => Sending Inventory

INVENTORY => Inventory changed since last run

AGENT => Inventory successfully sent

AGENT => Communication Server asked for Package Download

AGENT => Unloading communication provider

AGENT => Unloading plug-in(s)

AGENT => Execution duration: 00:05:26.

The winusers.ps1 script is the official script as of today.

But it doesn't only happen with this script, it happens with all the scripts I have added, they are plugins downloaded and installed from the official OCS website.

The error "output is not a valid XML document" happens to me with other plugins as well. Maybe I'm missing something?

Hi! I've problems with the teamviewer plugin, previously it worked correctly with the version of the agent 2.9 and server 2.10, today I updated the server (Ubuntu 22.04 LTS) 2.11.1 and the agent 2.10.1, deactivating the plugins as the manual says, finishing upgrading I reactivated the plugins and only the officepack works for me but the teamviewer one does not receive the information.

I have a problem to installing plugins in the OCS agent. When I use OcsPackagers and I add plugins in "Plugins to include" it's not displayed or their path is not complete. It's like there's a limit to how many plugins I can install on my agent.
Do you have a solution or a way to install all the plugins you want on the agent?

Depuis plusieurs semaines que j'ai refait mon serveur OCS, qui fonctionne correctement, les différents agents remontent correctement les données sur le serveur, ces données sont synchronisées sur un serveur GLPI aussi.

Mon souci est que les agents (VB, et PowerShell) des plugins ne remontent pas toutes les informations nécessaires, alors qu'en local les informations sont correctement affichées, quand je les exécute sur le PC. Tous les PC sont en Win10 64 ou Win11 64.

Sur le serveur, certains plugins remontent leurs infos, et d'autres non..

Si quelqu'un pouvait m'indiquer par où chercher pour essayer de résoudre la situation.

I've tried to install winusers and uptime plugins. In both cases I could check that permissions and DB are created. Also I've checked logs, but the respective DB are not filled.

I didn't see any errors on Apache/OCS logs...

office keys plugin

Hi, I would like to install office keys plugin so I have downloaded and installed it. During the installation steps all seems to works correctly but All seems to works correctly except that I can't find any office product keys information in ocsreports. I even tried to copy the msofficekey.vbs in the plugin agent folder but even non product keys office info I can find in ocsreports.

This plugin continue to works even in recent versions of ocs agents even in win10/win11?

Good afternoon, as the question says, my problem is that I don't see the MS Office key information in the database.

I did some tests looking at other similar questions and I see that the msofficekey.vbs runs correctly.

In this case I run it manually.

This is the reading of the log file.

And this is the content of the temporary file that is generated when I run the OCS Client (I had to copy and paste it quickly)

The versions are the following:

What is the path where the agent script for an extension should be located on a Mac?

The Unix path listed in the documentation - /usr/local/share/perl/{perl version}/Ocsinventory/Agent/Modules - does not exist, and I have been unable to locate any similar path.
