I installed fresh latest beta server and after installing the first agent 2.1.1 I get first this ERROR 7030 in my event log:
The OCS Inventory Service service is marked as an interactive service.  However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services.  This service may not function properly.
and then a lot of these ERROR 20:
Service encounter error <OCS Inventory NG Agent encounter an error (exit code is 4 => Failed to talk with Communication Server)>.
the URL is accessible but shows ERROR 400 bad request if I try to access it with a browser
https://ocs/ocsinventory
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at ocs Port 443

If the problem could be solved by allowing "interactive services" then I don't think I want to make that modification to the whole domain.
P.S. I then installed the agent (ocsinventory-agent.noarch 0:1.1.2.1-1.el6) on the server itself and after running the  /usr/sbin/ocsinventory-agent twice I get in the agent log twice the same thing:
[Wed Apr  8 14:48:25 2015][info] Accountinfo file doesn't exist. I create an empty one.
[Wed Apr  8 14:48:26 2015][info] PROLOG_FREQ has changed since last process(old=,new=24)
[Wed Apr  8 14:50:31 2015][info] Accountinfo file doesn't exist. I create an empty one.
[Wed Apr  8 14:50:32 2015][info] PROLOG_FREQ has changed since last process(old=,new=24)
and server still shows all 0's

is the new beta functional? I hate the old interface so this the only reason I was willing to try this product.
