How can I change the PROLOG_FREQ?

Hi!

I have a problem with the PROLOG_FREQ parameter. I know that the PROLOG_FREQ time can be changed through the Administration Console in the configuration server options. I try to change this parameter, I change it from 12 hours to 24 hours, for instance, in the Administration Console but this change never applies to the agents.

Then I have the PROLOG_FREQ parameter to 24 hours in the Administration Console but the same parameter to 1 hour on the ocsinventory.ini of the agents, and then, the inventory is sended to the server every hour. It doesn`t happen in all agents but a large part of them.

Ocsinventory.ini

I have a system with 2.1.2 Server version and 2.1.1.1 agents version.

Have somebody the same problem? Can I do something to solve this issue?

Thank you!

to fix it manually try in this way:

- set the parameter PROLOG_FREQ=1 in the server console, then click on "RUN OCS Inventory NG Agent Now" in the systray , this will overwrite OCSinventory.ini  with the correct parameters on the agent by the server.

If you want to fix it automatically you have to wait for the max prolog_freq set in all agents. It  doesn't happen in all agents but a large part of them maybe 'cause some agent has initially a different PROLOG_FREQ saved in the OCSinventory.ini. Try to check the latest communication with the server for each client.
