Add new page and DB connection.

Question

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to add new pages, and custom DB tables, the same way I'm trying to add new scripts (like select, insert, update and delete) to connect this new pages to my new custom tables.

For now, my intention is just to the hobby and to training my PHP and SQL Development at one application very useful, but I really want to know how can I got it.

I really researched at your Wiki, but especially after the update, I can't find anything anymore.

I will be really grateful if someone can help me if prefer, I can send my e-mail to talk more about the system.

please, can you specify your need ?

Create a development for OCS (new page, new features) or create a plugin ?

Depending on the case, a plugin might be suitable...

I'm creating a development for OCS (new page with some specifics features).

In this new page, I want to create a form to register at DB some specifics information from software and licenses, and then, show this information in a grid.

But I can't access de DB by my new page, I don't know if I need to add the DB connections and selects scripts in a specific directory at application.

I can't understand what I'm making wrong.

Leticia,

Creating a new page for OCS includes dependencies for authentication... You can take inspiration from an existing page for that.

Otherwise, one solution would be to contact the company FactorFX so that a developer helps you to implement your work in OCS (this can require a financial contribution).
