sending computer data to a foreign server?

hy, how to prevent a connection to a foreign server .. the clients send inventory to ANY Ocs-Inventory server which is contacted by dns name. If the dns name is faked .. the clients sends data to this server ..even if ssl=1 is enabled.

Is the only way to avoid this to use authentication in ocsinventory client ?
