Does the MAC Client support basic authentication

Hi All

We have plenty of windows agents which run the agent with no issues with basic authentication configured. I cant seem to find anywhere in the MAC client config to support the authentication fields.

Does the MAC agent support this and if so how can I configure it

The mac agent is an Unix agent with a beautifull installer.

Look on the Unix agent documentation and you will find what you need.

So I have added the directives

user=SOME USER
password=SOME PASSWORD

to the conf file at /etc/ocsinventory-agent/ocsinventory-agent.cfg but I am stil getting 401 errors ...

Any ideas ?
