plugin distribution to agents

i installed a plugin on my ocs server, and used install_plugins to set it for the communication server. but it doesnet' seems to work.

how can i check the communication server works, and check if my plugin is distributing normally ?

i'm on redhat 8, with ocs server and reports 2.10 and ocs agents 2.9.

Hi,

Verify that the plugin is correctly installed on the machine.

  • for windows => see c:\program files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent\Plugins
  • for linux => std RHEL/CentOS => /usr/local/share/perl/<version_perl>/Ocsinventory/Agent/Modules. Plus new module must be validated in /etc/ocsinventory-agent/modules.conf file
