can snmp scan on vlan network or complecated network? [closed]

I have ocsinventory-server 2.1.2 on Ubuntu 14.04.01 LTS and have different machine for agent but OS is same.

I have different and complecated network subnet like 255.255.252.0 255.255.255.192 like this.

when i am scanning the network by giving command "sudo ocsinventory-agent --debug" it is not scanning snmp devices.

Will snmp scan only simple network like 192.168.1.0/24?

Will snmp scan 192.168.52.0-192.168.255.255/22?

My network has vlan configured.

any help will be appreciate.

Hi,

"when i am scanning the network by giving command "sudo ocsinventory-agent --debug" it is not scanning snmp devices."  => First is snmp really configured ? I don't think so. Please post ocsinventory agent content log file.

Second, with or wihtout snmp ocs inventory agent can scan all networks.

Thanks for the answer,

snmp is configured, some modules were not install in agent side. So i installed and its working on same network only.

My scenario is i have 3 network

1.) 192.168.55.0/26      192.168.55.13 - 192.168.55.62 (49 hosts)
2.) 192.168.55.64/26    192.168.55.66 - 192.168.55.126 (60 hosts) ---> i am in this network
3.) 192.168.55.128/26  192.168.55.160 - 192.168.55.190 (30 hosts)

i am unable to scan 1st and 3rd network. it is possible to scan in different network?

Regards

Yogesh

It's possible to scan on differents networks with the agent but take care on your firewall et snmp community. It can be bloceked.
