Migrate OCS Inventory Server - change server IP on clients

Hi to all,

  I have create a new OCS Inventory server, I have imported the db dump from the old server: all ok!

But now, is there a way to update the server ip address on all clients configurations?

Hi,

You can create a custom ocs package agent with custom ip / configuration and then use the old ocsinventory server to deploy it on all your clients.

Your clients will install that new agent with the new configuration.
