Wrong CPU information reported on Windows

Hello,

We are using OCS inventory 2.1.2 running on CentOS.

We have some Windows computers running latest available agent (2.1.1).

The problem is that, their processors are Core 2 duo , but are reported as pentium 3.

We have tried reinstalling the agent, and reinstalling the PCs, but had no luck so far.

please search for cpu hotfix and wmic - there are some hotfixes from Microsoft which can prevent this problem depeding on your operating system

before you can run the following in the administrative cmd window

WMIC CPU GET NAME

to verify which cpu will be reported by windows
