Specific installation directory

Hello,

In my company we will deploy the OCS Agent on all servers but all of them don't have the same basic configuration.

For exemple we have a specific directory in C:\ or D:\ for system Tools installation. I made an OCS package with the switch /D="C:\SPECIFIC_DIRECTORY\OCSInventory". But when i install the agent there is nothing but a "plugins" directory in that directory. And if i delete the specific directory and restart the ocs service, it is not recreated and OCS works without any problems. So I Wonder if that parameter is really effective and if that parameter is written somewhere in OCS configuration? (There is nothing in registry and in configuration files)

I don't really understand your problem.

Does the agent installation works ?

Does it install agent in the correct directory ? if not where does the agent is installed ?

Bonjour, je répond en français ça sera plus simple :)

En fait mon agent s'installe correctement, mais je voulais savoir s'il y avait une utilité quelconque à spécifier le répertoire d'installation via l'argument /D=XXXX vu que lorsqu'on le précise il crée un répertoire OCS Inventory dans cet emplacement mais qui ne contient qu'un répertoire plugin et qu'il existe tout de même un répertoire identique sous C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent

Quand je regarde les fichiers de conf d'OCS ou la bdr rien ne parle du répertoire spécifié dans l'argument /D..
