How frequent the agent would update the server?

Question

Hi All,

I have checked that there is a parameter "FREQUENCY" about how frequent the agent would update the server (correct if I am wrong).

However, I have a windows machine with agent installed, I wait for more than 24 hrs, however, I cannot see there is any update to the server (I can manually update the server my running the agent).

Is that normal?

Hi Kenneth,

By default, it seems to me that the inventory frequency is 24 hours, you can find this parameter in the interface of your OCS server at :

Configuration > Server > PROLOG_FREQ

Note : This parameter can be changed for all inventoried clients, per machine group or per machine.
