Reading file by OCS agent

Hello!

Is there any possibility to read some file from local PC with agent?

For example, we want to put some text file onto local hard drive to read it and to send into inventory. May be as part of administrative data.

Can we?

Hi,

as i know, it is not possible to inject a text into the administrative data from the inventory (except for the default tag but for a specific context).
Finally, your need seems to come closest to the "Customapp" plugin, maybe see that...

No, a Windows version only exist, but an adaptation for Linux can be done easily.
