mail notification

I have installed ocs server on CentOS. I did the configurations for mail notification on configuration-->notification.

I haven't got any email so when searched further, I understand we have to install and configure a CronTab to call the file cron_mailer.php on server side.

I dont see steps on how to do this on CentOS. Please help me with steps to install mailer.php and to configure.
