OCS 2.9: Purge Software Entries

We have multiple entries of software where the count is for example 2 but when clicking on the count there are no results. Searching in the database reveals that the hardware ID doesn't exists.

Is there a way to remove these bogus software entries? Running the new cron_all_software.php doesn't seems to solve this.
