in the documentation under 'Using assets categorization' it says the following:
'However, this feature is intended to be used by third party software since the category can be easily retrieved using the REST API'.
I think this is a totally useful feature and I would like to use it.
So how can I make assets categorization easily retrieved using the REST API?
Can someone help me with the necessary command or documentation?
I would like to read the version number of a software via the assets categorization and pass it together with the corresponding computer names to my montoring software.
Here I can then raise an alarm if necessary.
Is this possible?
