htaccess con server side do not work [closed]

Question

Hi, I was not able to enable agent login to /ocsinventory location

Step to riproduce my environment (CentOS 7.10, ocsinventory from RPMs)

Create a password: 

sudo htpasswd -b /etc/ocsinventory/ocsinventory-server/htpasswd agentsdb agentsdb-pass

Enable Auth con location on ocsinventory-server.conf

diff ocsinventory-server.conf ocsinventory-server.conf.bak

<       AuthType Basic

<       AuthName "OCS Inventory agent area"

<       AuthUserFile "/etc/ocsinventory/ocsinventory-server/htpasswd"

<       require valid-user

But no authentication is required on https://myserver.acme.com/ocsinventory

Please help
