Ocs Inventory does not recognize all peripherals

I am a working student in IT organization for retail chain.

Situation description: OCS Agent is installed on a test checkout (a common checkout in a supermarket). The OCS gives me a lot of information about the POS system (hardware, software, network) which is absolutely interesting. It also shows me some connected devices like monitor, input devices, printer, but it does not recognize the hand scanner or the card payment device which are connected to the cash register. The question is why it does not recognize these two devices, although they are connected to the same network? Does anyone have an idea? Thanks for your effort.

Hello sokatra, i tried what u suggest, but the device is not listed in the registry.
There is only the standard categorization under Devices from the cash registers like: PDA/Smartphone, Monitors, input devices, printer, modem. Ocs does not seem to recognize the table scale from the cash register and also not the hand scanner.
Do you have any other ideas what I could try ?
Thanks for the support.
best regards
