How does the asset inventory purging system work?

Hello,

I have searched but can't find any info about this.

How does OCS Inventory do the purging of your inventory assets?

What happens when a computer is no longer responding? or the agent is uninstalled? or it is formatted or deleted?

In the OCS administrative console I still see the assets, it does not perform auto purge on non-live assets? How is it possible to keep the inventory updated in this way?

Hi,

There is not auto-purge. You have to delete manually all assets.
