Post installation error OCS inventory in Centos 7

Hi There

After install the OCS server into a Centos 7 machine, the following error appeared into the httpd error_log file

DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Table 'ocsweb.config' doesn't exist at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Apache/Ocsinventory/Server/System.pm line 98.

DBD::mysql::st fetchrow_hashref failed: fetch() without execute() at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Apache/Ocsinventory/Server/System.pm line 101.

DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Table 'ocsweb.hardware' doesn't exist at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Apache/Ocsinventory.pm line 286.

also in the OCS client log this entries appeared:

AGENT => Sending Prolog

ERROR *** AGENT => Failed to send Prolog <HTTP Status Code #500>

No agent/machine is being registered by the server.

The OCS  DB version is the 7077

Software : MariaDB 10.4 - Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) PHP/7.3.33 mod_perl/2.0.11 Perl/v5.16.3

I was googling but no information appeared regarding this problem, could you help?

Thanks problem solved. It was related to the DB name, the GUI has it in uppercase letters but I've create it with lowercase letters, DB deleted, recreated, and capitalized in all config files did the trick.

good day.

Before ask, it's better to check ALL informations you've set : I copy tuto in a text editor and I write informations then I copy and paste, so no errors !

Please, due Centos 7 is quite obsolete, consider Debian (12) : IMHO it is best distribution for building most server. With distributions based on rpm, it's difficult to find which rpm package to add, and with Debian it's more simple (apt update, apt search, apt install, apt upgrade).
