OCS Agent missing from web interface after setup

Hi everyone, how’s it going?

I recently set up an OCS Inventory server on a Debian system and successfully completed the initial setup at (http://192.168.10.199/ocsreports/). After that, I installed the agent on my personal Windows computer, configured the same address during the setup, and started the service. However, I still can't see my machine in the OCS web panel. Does anyone know what might be going on? I've opened the necessary ports on the firewall and I believe everything is configured correctly.

Hi

Inventory is sent to http://192.168.10.199/ocsinventory and not http://192.168.10.199/ocsreports/. Verify the configuration of your agent.

Hi Frankb, I made the configuration, but it's still not working. I noticed that when I access this address, I get an error page. Could that be related? I couldn't find a directory named "ocsinventory" on my server.error

You ask questions that you could find replies reading the doc ...

URL with /ocsinventory is for agent not for browser !

URL with /ocsreports is for browser to manage or view the (contents of) database.

Please search the forum for checking your server ...
