Incompatible legacy installer package in MacOS

When i try to install the OCS Inventory agent in my MacOS with Thaoe 26.2 i get the error "Incompatible legacy installer package"

Does anyone have any idea how this can be solved?

Have you packaged you agent ? I have and it works manually but failes when pushed out during a Jamf install. Thaoe has worked with the lates ocs agent AFAIK

Hi, I had a similar issue with older macOS installer packages. The “Incompatible legacy installer package” message usually points to the installer package being too old for the current macOS version, rather than an OCS configuration problem.

I’d first check whether you’re using the latest OCS Inventory agent specifically supporting your macOS version. If there’s a newer agent/package available, that would be the safest approach rather than trying to force the legacy installer to run. Also worth checking the agent documentation for a supported sports games online manual installation method if the package hasn’t been updated yet.
