Issues install OCS Server v3

hello, I'm trying to install OCS3 with these guidelines
Everything went good. But I'm experiencing the following problem after configuring the front and backend adress. I get this: Network Error.

Front and backend are running on the same server. I changed the DNS entry's for the front and backend like in the doc.

Is there a way to check that the front-end has connection with the back-end? Logs in the backend are pretty empty. Nginx logs are not telling something. I

I already disabled UFW. I'm running this on a ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
So I'm pretty stuck :-)

Do you need more info, I'll happy to give it :-)
Kind regards

I was have the same issue.
But try next:
on the nginx site for backend choose the different port like
listen 8080
for backend - leave default 80

For both files set server_name(or IP)
Dont forget change external IP/server_name in config.json file
This is it.

I had a similar issue once. Since the frontend and backend are on the same server, I’d first check whether the BACKEND_API_ROUTE is actually reachable from the frontend. Try running a curl request to that URL directly from the server and check the browser’s Network tab for the failed API request. Also worth checking the Nginx proxy configuration and whether the backend is listening on the expected port. The “Network Error football games” usually means the frontend can’t reach the API rather than an OCS configuration issue itself.
