This week, I installed a new OCS NG server on CentOS 6. I have some problems with version 220.127.116.11 of the agent on Windows 7 x86_64. I had windows error in windows application logs an error message : Unable to remove Download lock file <C:\ProgramData\OCS Inventory NG\Agent\download\lock>
So I search on this forum and I installed the version 18.104.22.168 of the agent for windows found on launchpad (see topic [Resolu] agent 22.214.171.124 pas d affichage de l inventaire local).
Now package deployement run correctly. I test it succesfully with this version agent.
I always have a problem with the systray program (I have it with version 126.96.36.199 too). When I use it, a popup windows say windows error code 1053 "The service did not respond in a timely fashion". In windows system logs, I have this event
- User manually ask display local inventory informations
and the next system event :
- Event ID 7011: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the OCS Inventory service.
In C:\ProgramData\OCS Inventory NG\Agent\OCSInventory.log, I don't have any log on this action of systray (I have Debug=2 in ocsinventory.ini file).
Apparently, OCS Inventory service doesn't respond within 30 seconds after systray request.
Any idea to solve it ? (without modify the reg key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ServicesPipeTimeout)
May be I must use instead the version agent 2.0.5 (old stable version ?). But what are the consequences ?
