I am aware OCS can use administrative data to create custom fields on inventory. This information is fed once to the agent, and then uploaded again during the next inventory. Is there a way, i can change the fields in the web portal, for example a license key, and not have the agent re-populate the field? Every time i change one of the administrative fields in the web portal, the agent over writes the data it had from the first entry.
Is there a way to stop the agent doing this? So everything entered in the portal will stay as it is?
I realize most people are using GLPI for the software license management. However doing this in OCS would be easier through custom fields.
