Ping command - Check network status of the machines

Hi everyone!

I would like to know if OCS can check the network status(on/off) of my machines.

Is it possible by default?

Because I can't find it on AdmPage.

Hi,

OCS is an inventory tool not a monitoring tool. By default, OCS tests if machines are up but this is made internally. There is no configuration page for that. If you want monitoring, use well known nagios or shinken or centreon tools.
