local proxy to collect and transfer inventory data

Hi,

is it possible to have a local server or vm at a branch office that collects all the inventory information of the clients in this branch and then transfers the data to the main ocs server?
Due to local requierements the clients don't have internet access but we could get a special gateway for the ocs "proxy" at this branch.
