Downloaded package does not launch self installing exe

Question

Created and affected a package (zip containing a nullsoft self extracting exe, known to be working).

Client machine downloads package successfully (exe file appears %programdata%/OCS Inventory NG/Agent/Download/[number] and can be run manually)

Agent verbose log says launch command was performed on the exe file.

But nothing happens.

Later, turned UAC off and tried again (this did not affect anything).

Any guidance on debugging/resolving this would be appreciated!

Hi,

Use execute command as method to launch executable.

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, using the execute command as the method to launch the exe produced the same result. Exe was not executed. mg

I have no answer, but I do have a problem that looks just the same, and to boot, I am using the same version. Was a solution ever found?
