Hi, my OCS Server display the type of OS as Linux and not CentOS 6.x...

I have 23 of my centos servers have the same problem.

Can you help me?

I use ocsinventory-agent-1.1.2.1-1.el6 .

I solved by installing the redhat-lsb packages.

Ok,

You should think about installing a new version, the 2.1 come with a lot of new functionnalities and a lot of improvement on inventoried data.

The new agent is compatible with the old server installation ?

Your agent need to have a lower version than the ocs server.

For example an ocs server 2.1 can handle from 1.X to 2.1 agent version
