Hi,

http://192.168.1.15/ocsreports is not the correct url to send inventories. Use http://192.168.1.15/ocsinventory.

If you get error 404, many possibilities:

  • perl module is not activated on the ocs server => verify module is installed and enable it
  • you have a activated firewall on the ocs server. Disable it and retry inventories

I have done the checks on the server and everything seems to be correct.
The firewall is disabled, perl modules are installed and active and I changed the URL path.
The result is the same.

Hi,

On which OS have you installed OCS server? I suppose you restarted apache when you finished the installation of OCS server. What error do you have when you go to the url http://192.168.1.15/ocsinventory with a browser?

hi,

Try to access http://yourocsIP/ocsinventory . If the result show 400 bad request => your mod perl are configured ok.

Then move these files:

#mv /etc/apache2/conf-available/ocsinventory-reports.conf /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/

#mv /etc/apache2/conf-available/z-ocsinventory-server.conf /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/

Restart apache2 service

# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Hope it help!
