custom fields are lost after upgrade from 2.1.2

Question

hy, i have upgrade OCS-Inventory Server 2.1.2 to 2.3.1 -- i used every single upgrade (2.1.2 > 2.2 > 2.2.1 > 2.3.1)

But the settings from my custom fields are not preserved !
i mostly used checkboxes, and the description of the Checkboxes are lost after upgrading from 2.2.1 to 2.3.1
What can i do to preserve all custom field settings (department information and so forth) ?

Have you ever found out a solution to your (and my) problem? Did you simply upgrade and insert all the data again?

i just don't upgrade right now - also beause i don't like the new Interface. But i must upgrade for security reasons and i will do the following.

I just made a group out of every single Administrive Data. This is possible, because i have only klickable boxes. So i can do a multicriteria search and make a static group out of every item.

For example i search for all computers which have the tag - owned by kevin (x)

After the upgrade i do the same in reverse order.
