Deployment stays in waiting for notifications

Hi,

OCS inventory used to work fine on 2.2.1 and then I upgrade it on an other server, copy the certificates on the new server, edit apache configuration files to set the link of the certificates, restart apache, but when I try deployment, it stays on "Waiting notification". However inventory works fine.

If you have any idea ?

Thanks.

Hi,

Take a look in apache error and/or ssl_error log files to see if errors are present.Did you try to force the inventory? By default, the agent waits "prolog_freq" to start an inventory.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. It's a new serveur so it has started the inventory and managed to do it well.

The ssl_error_log says :
[Sun Jul 01 03:37:02.135008 2018] [ssl:warn] [pid 389] AH01906: RSA server certificate is a CA certificate (BasicConstraints: CA == TRUE !?)

[Sun Jul 01 03:37:02.135044 2018] [ssl:warn] [pid 389] AH01909: RSA certificate configured for 127.0.1.1:443 does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

And the error_log says : [Tue Jul 03 09:13:01.560332 2018] [auth_digest:notice] [pid 7819] AH01757: generating secret for digest authentication ...

[Tue Jul 03 09:13:01.561171 2018] [lbmethod_heartbeat:notice] [pid 7819] AH02282: No slotmem from mod_heartmonitor

[Tue Jul 03 09:13:53.018889 2018] [mpm_prefork:notice] [pid 7819] AH00170: caught SIGWINCH, shutting down gracefully

[Tue Jul 03 09:13:54.429906 2018] [suexec:notice] [pid 7835] AH01232: suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper: /usr/sbin/suexec)

ocsinventory-server: Can't load SOAP::Transport::HTTP* - Web service will be unavailable

AH00558: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1. Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message

I keep the same name for the new server, but maybe the id change? Do i have to regenerate a certificate?

Thanks,

Simon
