Sauvegarde du serveur OCS / Backup of the OCS server

Bonjour.

-------------------------

Hello. I installed my OCS server (Windows Server 2012 R2) and deployed the agents on a thousand machines. Everything works fine. Now I'm wondering how to save all in case I lose the server.

In the documentation, about backup, it's all about the MySQL database. But this seems a bit light. Would not you also save the SSL certificate to ensure that in case of reconstruction, the agents communicate with the server? And what about deployment packages ? Other directories ?

So have you any advice on what to restore (in addition to the database) in case of rebuilding the server.

Hi,

As you said, if you want to fully backup your ocs you can backup your ssl certificate and your deployments packages.

Deployment package are located in /var/lib/ocsinventory-reports/download by default on linux, however i don't know the path on windows.

Regards,

Gilles Dubois.
