OCS Inventory ipdiscover feature

Question

Hi,

Do i need to install OCS Inventory NG Agent on all the 500 clients which needs to be populated in OCS Inventory NG Server or can i use IP Discovery feature of OCS Inventory NG server to automatically discover and push all client/desktop/laptop data to the Centralised OCS Inventory NG server.

Please correct me if i am understanding it completely wrong.

Hi Kaushal....You need to deploy respective agent in all clients...For that you can use different methods...either do it from AD group policy as startup or log on script..or you can user OCS deployment tool..

In deployment tool you can do it in batch as well as a selective.
