Linux agent tags not working while Windows is

Hi.  I want my agents to automatically create tags.  My Windows agents are doing this without any issue and their tags automatically appear in OCS admin page (v 2.1.2).  I have set "tag=something" in "/etc/ocsinventory/ocsinventory-agent" but the 'something' tag isn't being created or associated with the Linux device.  Is this a bug?

Hi

Have you errors in /var/log/ocsinventory-agent.log? Please post the content od this file.

I had a similar issue and made the tag all lowercase and it worked!

The computers were Ubuntu 14.04LTS & 16.04LTS

i.e.

    worked --> tag=marketing

    Failed -->  tag=Marketing
