Private and Closed Network

Question

I have a customer with a private/closed network with physically no connection to the outside world (i.e. Internet). Since it is growing we are looking for a simple automatic inventory system.

Can I still run a Server and use the Agents on this network? What might not work? Will all the plugins work?

yes you can - ocs-inventory will work in a privat environment without internet connection.

But to install the server you should havea internet connection. build a Linux offline repository with all the needed packages isn't easy if you have no experience.
