location of assets and custom fields
I need to know if within ocs there is an option to set the location of the assets, for example that a computer is located on floor 4 office 2.
And also if there is a way to set custom fields for the assets, for example put a specific code.
thanks

The location could not be found 'inside the computer', so it's an manual information set for each computer : this is an 'administrative data', and you can use, first of them, the TAG. So read the manual :
https://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/04.Management-console-and-its-advanced-features/Managing-administrative-data/
(Consider you need to set manually for each computer : the tag could be set at installation using a .cmd, so you could prepare 2 .cmd before installation : if the agent is installed already, you should create an administrative data 'floor' and set EACH computer ... Please note, it's possible to select a list of computer and assign a value for an administrative data ...)

Depends the way you use de OCS, you can use the TAG for example, or if you have a VLAN, you can use a filter to display the ip_address
