php mbstring extension

Hello,

I am new to use the OCS Server, and trying to install it in Debian 12.2, after follwing all the steps when I try to open a pahe http://<IP>/ocsreports it shows a message

Please install php mbstring extension

I have check the mbstring or tried to install it shows the messge below :

php-mbstring is already the newest version (2:8.3+94+0~20240205.51+debian12~1.gbp6faa2e).

0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 218 not upgraded.

Need help to solve this, kindly suggest.

Hello,

The PHP version is 8.2 and Mbstring was showing 8.3 version, then I have followed the below steps.

apt install php8.2-mbstring

sudo phpenmod mbstring
