local import not possible/button missing

Hello,

i have installed OCS according this instruction:

https://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/03.Basic-documentation/Administration-of-OCS-Inventory-NG/#importing-inventory-for-non-network-connected-computers

Everything is fine!

Now, i want to import an .ocs file from an agent. When i choose "local import" i have no choice. I can only do manually entries. I have no upload button or something else. What can i do?

I tried to import manually via terminal.

"All of our tools are available at the following URL : https://github.com/OCSInventory-NG/OCSInventory-Server/tree/master/binutils They are also present in the ocs inventory setup if you still have it on your server."

Therefore i need “Ocsinventory_local.pl”, but it is not to find on the link.

Thanks for your help!

With an Agent, the best (and usual) is the Agent send to the server.

Sometimes, you could have hardwares with NO access to Internet or network. So you could, in ocsreports web interface download an .ocs (produced by agent and copy to usb key).

Hello jacquesh,

exactly this is my point. I have to use osc in different network segments. So it is not possible to send the .ocs-file automaticially from agent to server. I must import the file on the server side, but there is no possibility :-/, because the option is missing...
